DESCRIPTION:

The Project Manager of Lubrizol Knowledge Services is responsible for managing the necessary learning and operational infrastructure of the K2M business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and updating the strategic infrastructure plan, managing the day-to-day services of all vendors and becoming the K2M expert on the Learning Management System (LMS) platform.

The Project Manager is responsible for developing content for online Lubrizol K2M courses and for customer educational marketing sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design and development of learning solutions. These solutions include web-based learning, instructor-led training, blended learning, and online virtual sessions. Planning, organizing, coaching, project management and ensuring that instructional quality is built into the deliverables and the project are essential skills.

The successful candidate for this position will also have a solid business background.

This selected individual should enjoy challenging work, have proven project management experience, excellent communication skills, be well able to manage multiple development deadlines, have familiarity with online learning systems and be comfortable dealing with some ambiguity.df-tc

Experience/Skills
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement infrastructure strategy

• Manage day-to-day and long term 3rd party relationships

• Be the K2M LMS expert

• Structure existing content for best learning experience by end-user

• Provide innovative new solutions to development/delivery of learning

• Work with multimedia specialists to develop instructionally-sound media

• Lead design sessions to develop client requirements and team strategies for client work

• Design/develop approach to custom courseware for client that fits the client’s business needs

• Work with the clients and Subject Matter Experts to capture project-specific knowledge

• Establish working relations and expectations with the client

• Manage both people and technical issues related to the development of content


SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors in Business or Information Technology.

• Track record of generating creative solutions

• Strong business acumen

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Excellent communication and writing skills

• Formidable organizational skills and adaptability to direct self and others in the timely and cost-effective development of learning and technical solutions.

• Copywriting experience with the ability to transform complex technical information in easy to understand informational learning solutions.

• Ability to grasp and understand the needs of companies from multiple industries and business segments and provide strategic marketing recommendations based on needs analysis and industry specific market research.

• Proven track record of defining goals, setting deadlines and managing projects and teams.

• Detailed knowledge of critical aspects of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (like SAP and ) and online university Learning Management Systems (like Moodle and Blackboard).

• Excellent computer skills with detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Share Point, and Internet technologies.

CONSIDERED A PLUS:

• Masters experience in Business or Information Technology
• Experience in the field of online learning.

SALARY RANGE: $50,000 TO $90,000
BONUS ELIGIBLE
DOMESTIC RELOCATION AVAILABLE
