Job Description:

From an IT perspective, supports the health care enrollment division of a Medicare services insurance firm. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
Analyze organization needs related to software, processes, or controls in order to make recommendations regarding technology solutions.
Document requirements, specifications and objectives, based on business requirements and determine cost-benefit effectiveness in order provide management with required information to make informed decisions regarding ROI and project prioritization.
Coordinate activities of cross-functional teams in order to achieve various aspects of IT projects, including work plans, system design and testing of solutions.
Plan and facilitate user requirements gathering sessions as well as solution validation and user acceptance testing.

Experience/Skills
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-4 years (for junior level) and 5+ years (for senior level) of experience in IT Business Analysis.
Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts.
Application Development experience with SDLC/methodology knowledge.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Excellent planning, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated record of effective communication with project sponsors, management and project team members.
Good technical skills, including proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Project, Visio, Access, Excel and Word.
Facets and Crystal Reports strongly preferred.
Healthcare experience a plus
