The Project Manager of IT Client Services is responsible for developing and maintaining a holistic plan for ongoing Client Services project assignments. This Project Manager position will work with Client Services Product Management, Operations and other IT leaders across EIT to ensure a comprehensive plan is established and communicated to those IT and business customers that are impacted. This Project Manager will facilitate resolution of issues that arise from conflicting priorities relating to resources, timing and overall risk to ensure Client Services projects are aligned with overall EIT objectives.

What will Client Services Project Managers do?

1. This refers to the activities of leading cross-functional teams including engineering; QA; user interface, marketing, support to develop and launch the project on-time and on-budget. This may include securing resources, creating project timelines, tracking progress against timeline, identifying critical paths, getting additional resources when needed, and communicating status to the executive team.
2. Manage multiple projects with multiple internal and external dependencies, complex or multiple scope, a higher level of risk requiring mitigation plans, multiple integration points with some external integration related to functional capabilities, medium cost, time sensitive worked within multiple teams of resources
  • Are accountable for integrated deliverables associated with multiple projects
  • Write/create multiple integrated scope documents
  • Determine project cost and controls
  • Maintain capability level work breakdown structure
  • Track events, tasks, internal/external dependencies and progress across multiple projects associated with a capability
  • Accountable for the financial management of multiple projects including the integration opportunities and cost reductions
  • Communicate project status to customers, project team, project offices, leadership and PMs associated with other projects
  • Advise leadership, customers, staff on strategic solutions to dealing with barriers within a project
  • Accountable for active facilitation of issue resolution, change management and dependency management

    Job Responsibilities

  • Accountable for providing overall project management/coordination
  • Recommend and lead efforts to improve existing processes to improve quality and on-time delivery
  • Managing all project milestones and deliverables
  • Developing and manage projects using a standard methodology to meet budget, scope, and schedule goals
  • Facilitate all major approval points. Identify when each needs to occur, coordinate all documentation needed and follow up on approval outcome
  • Work with team members to define and maintain the project scope, requirements and deliverables
  • Coordinate with team members in the creation of project schedules, assigning resources and time tracking, maintaining project budgets, and provide project leadership through the construction and transition stages in the defined development lifecycle process.
  • Develops and maintains a holistic project plan for ongoing Enterprise IT Client Services projects
  • Coordinating project assigned resources
  • Monitor team resources and ensure they are utilized appropriately
  • Coordinate with team members in the creation of project schedules, assigning resources and time tracking, maintaining project budgets, and provide project leadership through the construction and transition stages in the defined development lifecycle process.
  • Providing project status reports
  • Prepare status reports and communicate to team members, management, sponsors, and stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Prepare and maintain meeting minutes for all project meetings, keeping track and following up on all open items
  • Providing project cost estimates by obtaining input from subject matter experts
  • Maintaining project documentation in accordance with Project Management guidelines
  • Collaborates with the IT Common Process Group and other enterprise technology stakeholders to understand proposed changes to enterprise IT processes and their impact
  • Collaborates with IT leadership and Human Resources to understand proposed IT or business organizational changes and their impact
  • Develops risk mitigation plans in conjunction with IT leadership to manage negative impacts to IT service delivery related to transformation changes.
  • Documents and communicates key transformation changes and the anticipated impacts, adjusting communications according to audience perspective and applicability.
  • Monitor a project's performance and insure financial goals and ROI are achieved.

    Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology or Business related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years related experience in managing complex IT projects
  • Experience executing change management plans
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large complex projects.
  • 2+ years business/systems analysis experience with expertise in writing business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Advanced working knowledge of an IT environment
  • Strong relationship management, project management, negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with MS Project or other project plan automation tool sets

    Desired Qualifications

  • PMP certification, or equivalent experience, is desired
  • 7+ years experience managing complex IT projects utilizing a structured development lifecycle methodology
  • Experience managing large, complex change management programs
  • Experience with project lifecycle management methodologies
  • Experience working in an IT environment with a significant external Supplier relationshipdf-tc
