Project ManagerLocation: San Francisco, CAPosition SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for successful delivery and execution of internal and external technology and strategic projects utilizing PMI best practices / methodologies and working with software development life cycle. The PM will collaborate with leadership to execute product management strategies and plans, perform quantitative analysis, and practice creative problem solving proficiency. This is a predominantly client and user facing role, with 25% travel involved. Responsibilities:* Demonstrate PM excellence through technical and behavioral skills.* Deliver projects on time, on budget, with measurable results, satisfied customers and harmonious team, while continuously improving results through analysis of internal and PMI process standards.* Fostering relationships within an IT organization and with leaders of other business units across the company. * Working with team members and managers on project issues and through production of quality deliverables (e.g. project plans, estimates, and functional specifications). * Developing risk mitigation, change management, and communication plans.* Participating with budgetary and quarterly planning processes and strategic planning initiatives.* Tracking and communicating critical project issues and decisions to executive management.Required & Desired Experience* Undergraduate Degree (Business Administration)* 5-7 years of hands on project management experience* 3 years operating within a formal software development methodology* Executive-level verbal, written and presentation abilities.* Mastery of MS Project* PMP Certification desirabledf-tc
