Project Manager

Our client is one of the leading technology environments with a very complex international infrastructure, based in Central New York State. They are looking for Project Manager to join their team. As a PM, you will provide project management and oversight on the delivery of complex business solutions in a geographically dispersed Matrix organization. The PM role function is multifaceted requiring a combination of general business acumen, industry intelligence and broad technical knowledge coupled with the ability to plan, coordinate and execute as core competencies. As the successful Project Manager, you should possess a broad-based technical background with emphasis on knowledge of the manufacturing industry and the Systems Development Lifecycle. PMP certification is a plus.

Required Experience/Skills:

• Bachelors Degree
• 5 years of project management experience in large complex IT environments
• Manage cross functional, virtual project teams employing standard project management discipline and processes in delivering the right technology solution to the internal business partner on time and within budget
• Ability to work in a geographically dispersed, complex Matrix organization and discern internal business partner requirements - bringing the voice of the customer into the project
• Well-versed on the stages of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) for custom applications
• Position requires a high degree of people skills in a fast paced time sensitive environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication a MUST

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• 10 Years Project Management experience
• PMP Certification a plus
• Prefer Manufacturing experience
