Project Manager

Title: Project Manager

This person will be responsible for planning, executing, reporting, and implementing multiple IT projects as assigned while following the established IT project management methodology.

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Supporting technical projects from initiation through implementation, including phases such as design, procurement, build/configure, testing, implementation, and close.
• Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan, organizing and securing required resources, coordinating project activities, preparing and monitoring project budgets, managing and resolving project issues.
• Initiating and maintaining reporting relationship with project stakeholders to coordinate efforts across multiple business and technical groups, while ensuring continuous efficient management of projects. This includes working with: team members, peers, manager, customer, vendors, auditors, and other affected departments.
• Assessing project dependencies, risk factors, and resource conflicts to ensure a successful project implementation, this would require the ability to manage contingencies.
• Monitoring project progress and adjust resources and priorities accordingly.
• Preparing and presenting progress reports for management.
• Leading multiple projects at any given time for various business units.
• Assisting in the ongoing improvement of an overall IT project management methodology and process.
• Responding to operational issues and information requests within defined areas of responsibility, while progressing on project work.

Successful candidates will meet the following Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• MIS or CIS degree is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Five (5) or more year experience in direct management of multiple, complex projects is required.
• Must be able to lead and take complete responsibility of project planning, scheduling, cost control, resetting priorities in a rapidly changing environment, managing project issues and risks, and project status reports.
• Experience with integrating IT systems during mergers and acquisitions is preferred.
• Enterprise Content Management experience is preferred.
• Ability to serve as the liaison between the business and Information Technology to understand business and technical issues and be able to translate, communicate, and manage project resources and deliverables to ensure on time and on spec delivery is required.
• Ability to identify, develop, and direct team members' strengths, technological resources, and organization processes to build productive, cooperative project teams.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to conduct root cause analysis and proactively analyze findings and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ability to conduct macro level strategic planning as well as micro level project administration.
• Strong communication skills are required to work and communicate with all levels of staff, management, and executives.
• Exhibit the desire to continue developing Project Manager skills and IT knowledge.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
