Description
BASIC DESCRIPTION: This temporary position will manage Information Technology projects that support the business need of the organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. The Project Manager will be lead the client Management System Selection and implementation.

o Phase 1 - Will consist of staff requirement of system and documenting the business process of each department.
o Phase 2 - Comparing 2-4 vendors against the requirements.
o Phase 3 - After selection, working with vendor to configure to draft new product.

2.Manage and track project plans, and drive teams to deliver according to scope and time-frame of the plans.

oComplete workflow revisions for all agency programs by February 2010
oAutomate payment process for the business office by May 2010
oUse data collected by current database to create a clear unique client by November 2009
oReports requirements completed by May 2010

3.Other duties as assigned by the Director of IT to include but not limited to:
oDocument Imaging Solutions/copier/printer reduction study by June 2010
oDetermine Training Plan for end users and IT Director by December 2009
oComplete IT policies by May 2010

THE PROJECT MANAGER WILL ALSO:

??? Communicate effectively with all project participants (internal resources, clients, vendors, etc.)
??? Gather and document business requirements and manage the scope of the project
??? Lead productive project meetings with both internal and external participants
??? Provide continuous visibility to project status including any deviations from plandf-tc


Experience/Skills
REQUIREMENTS
???Must be able to see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance and oversight
???All candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
???Strong organizational skills
???Leadership skills
???Ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds and various levels of technical experience
???Able to work with confidential information
???Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
???Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives
???4 year college Degree a must.
