Link Technologies is currently recruiting for a level 3 Project Manager for a contract opportunity in Carson City, Nevada. This position starts immediately.
CONSULTANT MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful project team experience on a similar type project;
Demonstrated ability in project manager competencies including Scope Definition; Communications Planning; Resource Planning; Scheduled Development; Functional Requirements Definition; Work Breakdown Structure (WBS); Change Control and Configuration Management; Reports and Project Reporting Templates; Formal Project Management Training; Extensive Experience with Risk Management; Project Budget Management; Request for Proposal (RFP) Processes; Procurement Planning; Vendor Evaluation; Activity Definition and Sequencing; and Excels in all project management competencies.
Minimum of five (5) years of project management leadership in a relevant functional or technical field;
Proven experience in managing risk and quality assurance;
Proven experience with managing more than one (1) vendor;
Demonstrated ability to coordinate between multiple agencies and project teams;
Effective communication skills in both verbal and written form to all levels of management;
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
A Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant discipline;
Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) certification or higher;
Government related experience in an applicable functional or technical field; and
Two (2) or more years experience as a Project Manager Level III in Nevada
PROJECT SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:
Microsoft Project 2003 or greater
PROJECT SPECIFIC SKILLS DESIRED:
Effective relationship management skills;
Performance Planning and Project Closeout;
Cost Benefit and Return on Investment (ROI) Analysis; and
Industry standards and best practices in Portal/SOA technology.
