We are currently staffing a major Epic implementation for a nationwide healthcare organization and have 5 openings for highly skilled Epic certified Project Managers. If you are interested in being part of a groundbreaking project, then we want to talk with you. Our client is actively interviewing and hiring for this initiative with positions open in Oakland, CA. These assignments are 6+ month consulting assignments with competitive rates.

Responsible for: Business Requirements: Develops structured content data within electronic medical record that is robust, complete, intuitive and covers 80% of data necessary to document encounters, both simple and complete, without use of free text. Synthesizes and maintains knowledge of business, technology and planning methodologies required to translate business and information needs into automated systems. Develops and maintains templates; leads efforts to assess compliance of templates with core data sets, clinical guidelines etc. Assesses end-user satisfaction with template and clinical content development process. Provides leadership and direction to appropriate user groups for development, documentation and implementation of structured clinical content in Northern California applications. Coordinates meetings with Clinical Content work groups throughout the region to develop structured content and ensure process of template building is consistent with terminology and user needs. Develops, tests and maintains clinical content and templates; creates, promotes and modifies appropriate templates and clinical content at all levels; maintains template inventory and clinical content drops and releases.

Experience/Skills
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive experience in specified technical area; project management experience in health care preferred.
Demonstrated ability to determine key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives.
Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses. Effective leadership in project management, and consulting skills.
Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of individuals.
4-6 years experience with Windows NT, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project and Internet is required
Working knowledge of EPIC application is a must.
Experience with EPIC Ambulatory Suite and has the authority to build at least on the graphical interface side (GUI).
EPIC Ambulatory certification is mandatory
