Our client, who is located in Oakland, CA, is looking for a local, Project Manager for a long term consulting assignment.

The position will be responsible for:
* Managing all aspects of a project including schedule, budget and scope. The candidate will need to be effective in a highly matrixed organization.
* Provide on-site facilitation of day-to-day activities between the clients and the vendor/KPIT
* Ensure customer satisfaction by managing the details of overall project schedules and deliverables.
* Planning and directing project schedules and monitor budget/spending.
* The work location will be in Oakland. Occasional travel between Oakland and Walnut Creek will be required.

The candidate should have:
* At least 5+ years of Professional Consulting or Project Management experience in Clinical Systems.
* Detail and action oriented, ability to provide high throughput with high quality.
* Excellent communication and organization skills

Experience/Skills
* Minimum 4 years Project Management experien ce in a Healthcare Systems environment
* Minimum 4 years overall Project Management experience
* Project Management Methodologies experience is a must
* PMI Certification is a big plus
* Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must
* Excellent team building skills is a must
