Our client, who is located in Walnut Creek, CA, is looking for a local, Project Manager for a 1 year consulting with option to hire assignment. This is a W2 ONLY project.

As a key member of National HIPAA Security team you will utilize your consulting skills to participate in the planning and implementation of the projects with highest degree of client service and excellence. Specific areas of focus will include Infrastructure team component security risk assessments, development and execution of implementation plans.

The technical consultant will be responsible for monitoring and tracking multiple concurrent implementation plans and implementation activities in support of the National HIPAA Security team across our clients enterprise. Under direction of the Infrastructure team lead you will coordinate with internal subject matters experts and external workgroups to develop risk assessments, analysis and implementation plans.

You will also work with the National Operations groups managing the execution of a number of implementation activities to ensure successful completion and will be responsible for monitoring the progress of each plan to milestone and reporting status and metrics to management.

Experience/Skills
Requirements
*The ideal candidate will have a B.S. (or equivalent) encompassing business, managerial and computer science courses.
*Will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in database design, modeling and implementation with a solid working knowledge of enterprise database structure.
*Should have a minimum combined experience of 8+ years in such areas as business process management, project management, business analysis and software development.
*Must be knowledgeable of the concepts, practices, and regulations of HIPAA.
*Will have demonstrated effectiveness in communicating with all levels of personnel, both verbally and in writing, to ensure effective support.
*The position will require a candidate that is proactive, attentive to detail, customer-service focused and a team player with good confrontational management skills. Also Required:
*3+ years in Enterprise Database Design, Modeling and implementations
*8+ years in Process & Project Management, Business Analysis and Software Development
*Understanding of concepts, practices, and regulations in support of HIPAA
*Excellent written and oral communication skills, utilized in problem solving and negotiating
*Excellent organizational skills and specific experience meeting complex and competing priorities
*Requires strong problem solving, business, operational and technical management skills
*Ability to thrive under extremely high pressure and tight deadlines, and consistently deliver their best work regardless of the pressure
