Description
Candidate will assist in the Supervision of staging, deployment, installation, de-installation, recovery of de-installed, inventory and reconciliation of installed and de-installed equipment, as well as responsible for daily supervision of installation team.

Candidate will also perform the following:

Provide coordination services between Contractor team and Department for each Project Manager approved work order.

Coordinate the execution of approved work order.

Ensure staging, deployment, de-installation, installation and disposal of all equipment are in conformance with guidelines.

Collect and disseminate all project/user/site specific data as provided by Staff Project Manager, to installation team, in accordance with approved work order, in a timely manner.

Provide end user instructions to facilitate migration to new hardware

Develop written hardware configuration procedures.

Develop written installation and de-installation procedures.

Provide technical and procedural proficiency training to installation team members before assigning team member to installation team.

Monitor and Supervise daily activities of contract Installers/Technicians to ensure efficient and timely installations. (Contractor to install a minimum of 40 (forty) P.C. XP Installations (a HP VL420 PC, a 17" Samsung Monitor, and either an HP 1200 or 2200 Laser Printer) per week.

Monitor to ensure re-installation of user software is in conformance with guidelines.

Monitor to ensure team's technical and procedural awareness and competency.

Provide daily feedback to Staff Project Manager and Installation Team.

Attend weekly status meetings

Provide weekly: written inventory reconciliation reports.

Provide weekly: written installation status report.

Experience/Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years experience within the last 3 years working with Microsoft Windows XP.

2 years within the last three 3 working with Microsoft Office XP.

3 years within the last 10 experience as an Installer in an environment of 500 or more PCs/desktops in a networked environment. This requirement must be addressed in the resume.

2 years within last 3 providing networking analysis troubleshooting and other network connectivity support.

5 years experience within the last 7 experience as a Project Manager on a minimum of 3 installations in an environment consisting of 100 or more PC's in a networked environment.
