Synch-Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for a project in Chicago, IL.
The selected candidate will Manage a Infrastructure PMO Engagement. Candidate will
Assist the Client with building and strengthening their current organization capability with respect to project management
Design and implement a Project Management Office scope to be determined based on assessment and Client's management direction
o Service Delivery framework
o Infrastructure standards
o Performance Metrics
o Staffing Model and Resource management
The PMO team will focus immediately on ensuring that existing mission critical projects are implemented on time according to the master plan
Design an organizational change management plan to upgrade the Clients organization capability
The Infrastructure PMO will work jointly with the applications PMO managed by a Client Partner in the coordination of the PMO Office activities.
Have responsibility for managing a staff of three consultants
Explore opportunities to expand the scope of the engagement
PMP certification a Plus

Experience/Skills
10 yrs of IT experience
5 yrs in a Mgmt capacity. Consulting and client-company exp. developing business strategies implementing application systems /managing technology infrastructure. Consulting exp. working with client companies with establishing a PMO office. Participated in strategic/business alignment projects, led PM process assessments/next step activities. PM practices/implications of introducing it within an organization. Exp working with Executive Level Mgmt providing advice/presentations
