Description
Project Manager_Technology Infrastructure (77125)

Technology Infrastructure project management in support of the Enterprise Project Office.

This position is for 6 months.

General duties will include:.

Define project scope.
Gather requirements.
Scope management including documented changes after initial sign off.
Post all project relevant documentation and exemptions in PCC in a timely manner..
Create schedules, locate and assign resources, track and approve time, in MS Project. (MS Project server 2003).
Identify milestones.
Create and understand a work breakdown structure where applicable.
Review contributing documentation and create the project summary.
Manage project end to end.
Communication planning with all stakeholders (users, technology, helpdesk, tier3).
Facilitate issues and differences: resolve issues that arise within team and stakeholders.
Reconcile Project cost.
Execute closedown.
Understand/utilize asset management tools.

Qualification :

Basic demonstrated working knowledge of:.
LAN/WAN, (includes bandwidth issues).
Local and system printers (includes pec-tabs, legacy connectivity).
Cabling standards (includes types, categories, maximum capability).
Routers (includes configuration for multiple connections) /switches/servers (includes management pc, apps, printers).
Server O/S, PCs/ connectivity testing/terminal emulations.
Understand and interpret an EWO (Engineering Work Order) - Form.
Wireless technology and related issues (includes congestion in Airport environments).
Remaining green screen and legacy technology.

Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6 Months (Possible contract to hire)
Pay Rate: $45-50 W2 + Benefits - Based on experience.
