Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a Clinical Application Implementation Project Manager to join our West Coast team.

Job Responsibilities:
This is a need for a Sr. Clinical Implementation Project Manager. This position requires experience with an implementation of a Clinical application such as IDX, Cerner or McKesson.

This project manager will work with our Cerner clinical applications team traveling to our West Coast clients. This individual will be working in a Cerner clinical implementation and healthcare IT Program Management Office environment developing and executing the planning processes and implementation of multiple concurrent projects relating to IT products, processes, or services. Individual must understand clinical application implementation workflow and functionalities.

Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated competence in Project Management methodologies and procedures is required, as well as a high degree of comfort adhering to standards and advocating among cross functional teams

  • 7 plus years of demonstrated project management experience as a Healthcare IT Project Manager

  • Strong competency with Microsoft Project is required.

  • Clinical ancillary operational/process knowledge

  • Clinical application implementation experience


    • Desired Skills:
  • Cerner is desired; other vendor tool is ok

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • PMI membership and PMP certification highly desirable


    • * Weekly travel to our West Coast clients will be required *
