Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for a suite of applications supporting the Funds Transfer business; these applications run primarily on Mainframe and Tandem platforms, but are migrating to a distributed environment. They are primarily in-house systems with some vendor applications with a major vendor application upgrade underway.
Lead technical projects from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, analysis, design development, QA/testing and implementation. Working with project team consisting of members from analysis, development, QA, and business areas; lead the team in establishing project requirements, priorities, schedules and deadlines. Coordinate resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects. Coordinate closely with other technology and business areas that have project or program cross-impacts. Manage budget for assigned project(s), monitor project progress and adjust resources and priorities accordingly.
