Description
Contractor needed for 2-month contract with potential for extension. Looking for QA expert with strong experience with Mercury Quick Test Professional (QTP) and other automated test tools. Consultant will evaluate client's current QTP installation and the way it is being used to test the client's J2EE based software. They have been having some difficulties implementing the tool with their particular software, and the consultant needs to focus on the situation. Look at problems, see if it's a question of how the tool is configured or being used, or whether QTP is the right tool for this job. If not, make suggestions for alternatives. Consultant will be working with the QA manager and development team to develop and write test cases, create automated test scripts, testing baand perform manual testing. Technical experience in J2EE/Unix/Linux environments is highly desirable. * * * * * No Third Party Candidates Please * * * * *

Requirements:

At least 3 years of QA experience. Experienced in using QTP with J2EE software Must be methodical, analytical, and responsible Familiarity with Web- and/or 3-tier software concepts Self starter and motivator who can work with minimal leadership and guidance Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
