Client in Aliso Viejo, CA seeks a QA Analyst to be responsible for extensive levels of quality assurance, test and evaluation of company software products on assigned projects. Essential duties include- Defining the management, development and execution of white box and/or black box level testing, Actively developing test plans and procedures as required for specific project requirements, Working closely with project development lead engineers, Reporting and tracking software defects and verifying program fixes, Participating in and providing feedback for different levels of design review. Position requires a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics), 3 - 5 years related experience, Programming and/or test experience using Cold Fusion, HTML, SQL Server, and .NET for the Windows 2003 and/or XP platform, Knowledge and operation of personal computer hardware and associated operating system software, specifically Windows 2003 or XP, Experience in the development and maintenance of detailed test plans and procedures and software defect tracking and reporting, Familiarity with software and/or quality related metrics and statistics desired, Ability to draft comprehensive test reports, Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skill, Outstanding attention to detail.
