Description
Our client needs a QAA for 12 weeks of coverage. It is the objective of the Quality Assurance Analyst to provide their customers with clear, concise and accurate software and support documentation that meets their needs. The number one priority of the Quality Assurance Analyst is to assist all areas of the IS Team in meeting the specific objectives required by our field users, Region Staffs and Corporate Personnel.Ensuring Quality Assurance standards and methodologies are properly executed in accordance with appropriate software development methodologies and Quality Assurance principals and standards. This includes:" Recreate user scenarios to be enhanced or modified" Write and execute test plans that ensure quality of software projects developed" Facilitate the resolution of all issues which could impede the successful completion of our projects" Provide recommendations for enhancements to systems or procedures to improve current performance" Create, edit and publish documentation that is clear, concise and easily comprehended by various users within the company, including but not limited to, the Helpdesk and field." Ensure our systems and documentation possess an homogeneous feel" Ensure all projects meet user needs and adhere to original request" Develop overall knowledge of client's business/systems processes" Develop understanding of file layouts on AS400" Develop understanding of query and its' utilization in testing" Other duties as assigned Report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. Daily working relationships include, but are not limited to, working with other Quality Assurance Analysts, Development Programmer Analysts, Helpdesk Business Analysts, Branch End Users and Region Managers.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS" Basic AS/400 hardware knowledge" Basic AS/400 operating system knowledge" Ability to work with a wide variety of user and IS staff" Ability to work to deadlines and follow procedures" Positive and flexible disposition" Understanding of basic business procedures" Strong communication skills (written & oral)" Well developed organizational skills" Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks" Functional PC skills
