QA Automation Tester

DESCRIPTION:

This position is a hands-on QA Automation engineering role with a primary focus on leading the implementation of our automated regression test framework.

* This person must know Quick Test Pro well enough to build flexible and maintainable scripts. Functional and Regression Testing. Quick Test Professional.

• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the regression testing in QA organization
  
• Must work closely with QA and software development teams to capture test automation framework requirements
  
• Responsible for architecting, designing, developing, maintaining, and documenting automation scripts
  
• Maintain automation scripts or tools written by yourself as well as others
  
• Work with QA team members to port the existing repetitive test cases and automate them
  
• Lead in requirements gathering efforts where manual test cases are lacking and requirements are insufficient to build automated scripts
  
• Review, maintain and improve current automated software test methodologies and processes

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience writing test cases, executing test cases and analyzing the actual results against the expected results.
  
• At least 5 years automated testing experience
  
• At least 5 years experience with Test Director/Quality Center and Quick Test Pro Mercury automation tools
  
• Proven written/verbal communication skills
  
• Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
