Like their offerings, their technology resources cover a diverse and varied span from IBM Mainframe, Client Server and Microsoft .Net. The Director of Quality Management is a new position created to establish metrics/standards and the rollout of a true quality methodology across the organization.
CRITICAL SKILLS -Proven ability establishing quality standards and methodology across global organizations-Adoption of these standards across the internal and outsourced partnered organization (on and offshore model)
As a result, qualified candidates must possess: -15 years of experience defining and enforcing a global, software quality process, end to end. -Proven track record using both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies, preferably coming from a leading edge organization where quality software the first time is critical to a company's success. -Exceptional technical acumen from functional to automated testing utilizing the Mercury suite of products in a high volume transaction (6500 transactions/per minute) environment. Ideal candidates will come from the travel, banking, online or healthcare industries where high volumes are common. -Managing change/adoption of the new process/standards and methodologies throughout the organization - including on and offshore partnerships. Able to effectively negotiate and hold vendors accountable while driving for a product output that is world class. -This position will work with approximately 70-80 FTEs and 150 offshore contractors, with over 1/2 of these resources being quality assurance testers.
