Our client, located in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a QA Engineer (IVR Testing) for an immediate contract position.

Our client is a leading global financial services firm. We provide investors with a broad range of brokerage, mutual fund and consumer financial products and services on an integrated basis.
Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual who is interested in making a significant and meaningful contribution in the productivity and quality of our Company's development of enterprise software applications. This individual will work closely with the Development, Tech lead, and other Quality Assurance team members to perform IVR testing and deliver state of the art software. The primary responsibility of this position will be to improve the quality of development code prior to QA release (unit test, integration test, test plans, etc.)

JOB DUTIES:
??? Create, analyzes, and executes system-testing requirements.
??? Analyze, interpret, and approve business and technical requirements.
??? Analyze, interpret, and review design specifications.
??? Utilize *Empirix Hammer* environment to develop and support existing and new IVR test scripts.
??? Create test plans and test cases from the requirement documents for the IVR.
??? Execute test case scenarios manually and/or develop automated scripts to test the IVR.
??? Create specifications for test data/test environment.
??? Configure/setup test environments.
??? Utilize defect tracking system and bug reports.
??? Schedule, integrate, and utilize manual testing, as needed.
??? Prepare rollout/implementation timelines, procedures and specifications.
??? Perform problem solving analysis and root cause for system functionality challenges.
??? Participate on continuous quality assurance process improvement efforts.
??? Support and provide value added inputs in evolving QA team, including improving processes, procedures, and standards.
??? Candidate will develop a complete understanding of the functionality of TD Ameritrade systems.
??? Accurately identify and communicate bugs and systems enhancements to the development teams.

Required Skills:
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
??? Previous experience in testing IVR speech recognition systems utilizing Empirix Hammer environment is required.
??? Strong experience in testing of large scale IVR applications.
??? Knowledge of Equities and Options Trading Systems is preferred.
??? Expert using HP tools - QTP, Quality Center.
??? Bachelors in Computer Science, Management or related business degree.
??? Excellent communication and organizational skills, team player.
??? Excellent understanding of the SDLC.
??? Work independent of others when required.
??? Ability to identify, isolate and document system deficiencies in a clear, concise manner.
??? Good understanding of IT systems.

# of Years Required:
??? 5+ years of working within the Financial Services Industry with a good background in testing of complex Financial Applications.
??? 3+ years progressive experience/responsibilities in the area of IVR testing.



Required Education:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Management or related business degree.
