If you are looking for a short term QA Contract and have strong Scripting capabilities in C++ and/or Java, please read on.

What you will be doing!
- Be responsible for the developing planning, execution, scheduling, and reporting of test suites
- Build, maintain, and extend regression and automation suites
- Participate as a team member in testing, analysis, process management to identify and communicate risks
- Respond to dynamic situations while maintaining adherence to best principals
- Build alliances with business owners, product owners, developers, and operations
- Recommend solutions to technical issues, participate in architecting solutions
- Create black, gray, and White Box automated tests as appropriate
- Drive continuous improvement in test coverage and test effectiveness
- Serve as a resource in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from conception, design, implementation and testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance
- Accomplish aggressive goals and meet strict deadlines
- Be an active participant in an Agile/SCRUM environment

What you need:
- 4+ years experience of Engineering experience
- 4+ years in software QA, development or configuration management
- 3+ years experience in black-box testing Web based applications such as grey box testing
- Experience working with Unix/Linux Shell and experience writing batch/Shell Scripts to test applications with no graphical user interface
- Strong understanding of Web, HTTP, DNS, Client Server and Enterprise network protocols
- Demonstrable knowledge of and hands-on experience in 2 or more of the following: Java, Perl, Shell Scripting, C++, Python, Ruby, SQL, PHP, JavaScript, SML, DOM, C/C
- Strong experience with testing/debugging Perl, Mod_Perl applications under Apache is highly desirable
- Strong experience in test automation tools (such as Selenium, Watir, WebTest, Canoo, etc.)
- Strong understanding and experience with RDBMS systems such as Oracle, Sybase, or MYSQL
- Expertise in load performance, stress, integration, recovery and code coverage testing
- Proficiency in Web based, n-tier software testing
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent education/professional experience required
