General Summary:
The Lead Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst works with other members of the project team to deliver high quality web-based sales solutions for the health insurance industry. The Lead QA Analyst applies professional knowledge, experience, and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for improved testing methods and practices. In addition, the Lead QA Analyst champions corporate goals by implementing organizational and process improvement initiatives and provides developmental training to team members where necessary. The Lead QA Analyst candidate must be a visionary, possessing strong project management, leadership, problem solving and communication skills in addition to having a customer-focused mindset and an understanding of the importance of accountability and attention to detail. The Lead QA Analyst may be requested to attend requirements and design sessions at the client site.

Roles and Responsibilities:
General
. Support the Project Manager in ensuring the project success factors are met:
- QA Project Plan
- Estimates and Resource Allocations
- SDLC (Methodology) Compliance
- Change Control
- Issue and Risk Management
- Client Satisfaction
. Demonstrate leadership ability in all assignments
. Work independently with little supervision
. Act as a mentor and leader for all quality assurance resources
. Demonstrate high degree of organization and follow through
. Possess a strong working knowledge of software application

Client Deliverable Responsibilities
. Act as a quality assurance subject matter expert throughout the project lifecycle and recommend testing solutions and strategies to increase efficiencies in project work
. Coordinate and assist in the development and execution of the smoke, functional, system, and regression test cases to support the implementation of software solutions of web-based technologies
. Review and provide feedback on product requirements, functional design specifications, and architecture and technical designs
. Future Assistance with QA Automation in defining scope and approach for automated rate, regression, smoke and performance testing
. Participate in build process and ensure release documentation is accurate and thorough for QA environment migrations
. Submit weekly QA project reports outlining project progress, status, testing, percentage completion and issues in testing or delivery
. Attend and participate in project management/status/review meetings, facilitate defect meetings and provide issue resolution regarding project status and quality and risk management
. Coordinate and participate in test case reviews
. Develop deep knowledge of product functionality and of health insurance practices and processes

SDLC (Methodology) and Internal Responsibilities
. Take overall responsibility for internal QA processes and deliverables on complex client engagements consisting of multiple, concurrent implementations
. Create, review and maintain quality assurance deliverables in support of Connecture's SDLC: QA Test Strategy, QA Test Plan, QA Project Plan, QA Project Status Reports, QA Metrics Reports, Test Cases
. Create accurate estimates for QA project tasks (startup through execution) and for client submitted Change Requests
. Help to establish and implement QA processes and procedures for defect reporting, metrics reporting, and overall QA methodologies
. Assist Consultant resources in creating and maintaining requirements traceability from requirements and design to development and testing
. Work with the Technical Lead, Lead Consultant and Project Manager to acknowledge sign-off and acceptance of exit/entry criteria through each phase of the project
. Support the Project Manager in project planning and estimating, including QA resource allocations and recruitment (if necessary)
. Participate in on-going, pre- and post-project quality reviews
. Manage all project quality assurance resources to their project tasks and ensure high quality, on time delivery of all project deliverables
. Support Project Manager in career growth of quality assurance resources regarding staff development, morale, administration of project evaluations and employee promotions
. Enter time into time reporting software by deadline set by PMO
