Major Position Responsibilities:


Manage and oversee the continued creation and enhancement of automated testing tools and systems for software and hardware product validation.
Lead the technical and functional QA process: design, validation, testing process, defect identification, resolution status, etc. as it relates to software application testing within a 3 tier architecture to include consumer side web fronts.
Participate in designs of new and re-factored software applications to help improve design concepts and implementations for quality control and testing.
Work with Project, Development, Support managers to define QA activities for project plans along with ensuring delivery schedules for testing activities.
Create test plans including scope, test case identification and defining expected results.Identify process and measurement methods to help track resolution times for all issues identified.
Ensure that full regression testing is performed and defined against documented test plans.
Provide test execution results and analysis along with defect findings and document for status communication to the development group and department director.
Document defects and anomalies within defect tracking system as needed to help support the QA team.
Work with development team manager to help improve the delivery process, installation applications and documentation.
Act as part of installation support team to help solve problems using professional and system application knowledge.
Define and maintain configuration management procedures for changes to the operating system files and software
Act as release manager where required to ensure product components are release for production deployment as tested by Software QA Group.
Act as the customer when participating in product readiness reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS(Knowledge and Skills Required to do Job;Experience; Travel):

Bachelor’s degree in Management or Technical Equivalent
Minimum 8-10 years of progressively responsible related technical experience within an IT QA Role
Minimum of 2 years in a management or lead role.
Proficient knowledge level of testing methodology, SDLC methodology, test documentation procedures and QA Best Practices.
Understanding and implementation of automated test systems and software along with the ability to train staff members where required.
Database: Oracle, Microsoft SQL, etc. testing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to meet demanding deadlines under a heavy workload
Ability to interface successfully with clients and ACS’ personnel
Ability to support the creation of user/client documentation and technical reports
Ability to apply analytical skill and experience in finding creative methodology to test enterprise solutions
Posses a commitment to providing customer-focused, quality service
