Role: QA Manager

Role Description: The QA Manager would need to have at least 5 years of experience. This Candidate would lead the testing effort for projects being developed, as well as work closely to develop viable Use Cases to develop a QA test plan that will ensure a successful launch of products that conform safety, performance, and reliability. The QA Manager would also be responsible for defining the scope of testing effort and aligning it with the product development lifecycle and meeting the business requirement defined in the functional specification and be responsible for setting up Field Trial plans and working with Field Services to execute the Field Trials.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, manage, and perform highly complex testing and leadership tasks on complex projects.
- Perform testing tasks requiring planning, scheduling, and testing to assure that developed products meet design specifications and business needs.
- Plan, schedule, and implement testing for product release cycles.
- Assist in the definition of product Use Cases for Requirements planning.
- Define test objectives and write Test Cases.
- Assist engineering and product management with approach and technical issues.
- Develop and maintain automated testing procedures.
- Carry out performance testing and analyze test results.
- Participate in the configuration management, change control, defect tracking and reporting, release engineering, and product quality measurement efforts.
- Work with cross-functional project teams to ensure that product and software quality objectives are understood and met.

Required Experience/Skills:

- 5-10 years of QA/Testing experience, with minimum 1 year as a lead technical QA resource on projects.
- Solid understanding of a software testing process or methodology, and the software project development lifecycle.
- Experienced in the concepts of automated testing and configuration management.
- Familiarity with the following technologies: .Net, XML, ASP, Java, Web UI Design Principles, HTML, and SOAP.
- Strong RDBMS (Oracle, SQL/Server) and SQL skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
- Experience in Supply Chain and Warehouse activities and processes.
- Excellent creative and technical/explanatory writing skills are absolutely required.
- Project management skills and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to complete objectives on time and within budget.
- Experience in managing legitimate competing and diverse interests from sales and service organizations; fostering teamwork, building consensus and facilitating timely decision making.
- Well-grounded with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and independently problem solve.
- Results oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with a proven track record for effective implementation of change and delivering on aggressive timelines.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
