We have an immediate need for a QA Specialist/QA Lead - long term contract with benefits!

JOB DESCRIPTION:
5 years of test lead experience, Integration Test and End-to-End System Test expertise, Test Automation Development (HP QTP using VB), Combination of EDI, DW, Web Services, Mainframe Testing experience.

Desirable: HIPAA 5010, Deployment Readiness Testing, Data Flow Testing, Business Process Testing.

Responsible for design and execution of test models, scenarios, cases, scripts for systems/application testing.

Responsible for the design, execution, implementation, analysis, maintenance and test of new and/or modified test models, scenarios, cases, scripts, and test activity support applications, processes, and tools.

Responsible for the development and implementation of structured testing concepts, methodologies and automated testing tools.

Interfaces with IT Quality Assurance / Test Associates, Programmers, Project Leads, Managers, Business Analysts for necessary clarification of current operating procedures and clarify test objectives.

Requires knowledge of relevant application areas and software quality assurance techniques.

Defines and maintains test system configurations, performs test executions and writes test scripts for complex integrated systems.

Participates in documenting test strategies.

Maintains test statistics on the status of the testing process.

Reports on issues, defects, and results as required.
