Description
Genatek is currently seeking a QA-Tester to work for an exciting company in Des Moines, IA.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and/or participate in testing of software projects of medium to large
size and moderate to high complexity to ensure that software meets end-user
requirements, design specifications and development standards. Critique
software process to assure quality and to identify potential improvement
opportunities.

Required Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Experience: 4-6
years of experience with software development testing methods across the
software development life cycle. Past experience in a lead or supervisor
role is preferred. Must have a strong understanding of business procedures
and financial services operations and products. Must have strong testing
experience with all phases and stages of testing (Functional, System,
Integration, and User Acceptance). Must have strong knowledge of testing
disciplines and tasks., as well as previous experience writing test plans,
test cases and laying out test strategies. Must have strong functional
expertise on multiple systems supported by the QA group. Strong
communication, negotiation, decision making, and project management skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills necessary to identify
programming errors or inconsistencies and the ability to recommend
solutions. Highly organized with great attention to detail. Ability to work
independently and in a team environment. Self-starter with a demonstrated
ability to consistently deliver results in a high-energy environment.
