2. Be able to navigate the Web with an understanding of basic terminology (links, buttons, images, fields, tables, etc.
3. Basic familiarity with spreadsheets.
4. Be able to follow a set of instructions of 1 to 50 steps.
The testing contractor receives a list of test cases, detailed out step by step, and follows the instructions for each step. At the conclusion of each step, the expected result is listed in the test. The testing contractor verifies whether or not the expected result happened, records the information and moves on to the next test.
These test comprise about 80% of the regression tests for Checkpoint, an online tax research product.
