The Risk Management Applications group is in need of a Testing Analyst to support all testing efforts for PRiMA (Portfolio Risk Management Application), a Java based application with a complex, distributed environment and CMDS ( Capital Markets Data Store) a Netezza based database application with complex ELT logic.

As part of the testing team, the candidate will be specifically responsible for :
- Ensuring the quality of the systems being developed, and to speed up feedback to developers on bug fixes and modifications required.
- Development and execution of test cases
- Identification and documentation of test cases for multi-component systems
- Execution/analysis of test cases and documentation of software defects
- Development of detailed documentation of test results
- Development of regression testing framework
- Writing SQL queries for testing

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software testing experience related to complex, large scale business applications using Unix, Windows, Oracle and JAVA platforms
- Strong SQL skills
- General background in finance, including at least a basic understanding of fixed-income financial concepts and accounting.
- 3+ years of Unix experience
- Mastery of software test tools, platforms, processes, and languages such as XML
- Demonstrated problem solving, design and technical leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
