Job Requirements :------------------Summary:This goal of this project is to add control around the customer valuationsprocess. The application is used to maintain lists of products for which clients would like periodic prices, send the requests to traders for pricing, send the reports to clients via email, and archive the reports.The products encompassed are all fixed income products and OTC derivatives. The technologies used are Java Swing on the GUI, C++ on the server side, and Sybase as our database. We use TIBCO rendezvous to communicate between the GUI and service layer as well as between services.All manual testing right now as they do not have an automated strategy. The ideal resource is someone who has done the manual testing and also knows about and has worked with automated tools (WinRunner, LoadRunner etc.). The person would help down the road with input on a possible automated strategy.Also the person should have good development skills since they will work on some light development when there isn't a boat-load of QA in the works.QA tester will:A. Test from front to back (i.e. from GUI through database layer) B. Log any bugs found C. Interact with development team closely in the resolution of bugs D. Trace bugs in order to help pinpoint problemsRequiring the following skills:A. Development background with either C++ or Java B. Basic database skills1. Write SQL statements 2.
