Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a QC Supervisor to join our team in Providence, RI.

Job Responsibilities:
The QC Supervisor will be responsible for the activities of 13 QC Analysts. They plan, conduct, and coordinate testing application activities in a COBOL Mainframe environment. They develop and peer review test plans, test scenarios and cases as well as test environments. The work with project team to ensure correction of program errors, prepares testing instructions. They manage the day to day delivery of results to ensure meeting or exceeding contractual and service level obligations to customers. Responsible for quality and customer service outcomes. Utilizes best practice processes around work assignments, project management, and quality of output while maximizing overall team performance. Ensures processes and technical skills are in place to perform consistently and deliver high-quality results and value to customer. Builds relationships with customers to improve services and ensure service levels are being met.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Control and Testing phases of the SDLC as well as in Implementation of new or enhanced code
  • Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Ability to run test flows in a mainframe COBOL environment and within distributed application environments
  • Ability to coordinate testing activities of team members and provide guidance for problem resolution.
