Description
CDI Business Solutions is recruiting for our client, a global provider of power generation solutions and equipment.

This challenging contract opportunity is located in Orlando, FL and is scheduled for 6 months plus.

The successful Quality Engineer will have an understanding of ANSI, ASME, ASTM, codes, previous experience performing Supplier Inspection of Power Generation equipment, i.e. Combustion Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Generator Auxiliary Equipment Inspections.

Duties:
Perform Supplier Qualification, In-process and Final Inspections to insure that they comply with client Engineering Requirements, and Audits.

Perform both Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

Document via report, pictures, etc. findings of Supplier Inpsections.

Working with Engineering, Project Management, and Purchasing regarding Supplier Management.

Experience:
Typically 5 - 8 years of successful experience in related field.

Advanced degree may be a substituted for experience, where applicable.

Certifications: None Required

Education:
Bachelors Science Engineering Degree Required in Mechanical, Metulurgical, Welding, or Industrial Engineering.df-tc
