Description
Quality Process Engineers plan, develop, and implement projects related to business process engineering for process improvement in areas of software development, customer support and product delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Complete measurement analysis and interpretation for multiple teams
  • Design and implement sound metric data collection processes and assist leadership with ensuring process compliance
  • Identify negative metric trends and areas of opportunity for improvement and coordinate process improvement projects
  • Identify positive metric trends and identify and communicate best practices
  • Facilitate process engineering projects for process improvement in any areas of software development, customer support and product delivery, or other areas defined by specific assignment
  • Establish and lead Process Improvement Teams
  • Lead medium-to-high visibility root cause analysis projects and ensure closed loop corrective actions are implemented
  • Communicate quality strategies and gain buy-in from stakeholders

  • BS/BA (BS preferred) ? Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Management Science, Mathematical Sciences, Financial Management, Business Administration, Applied Statistics

  • MA/MS (MS preferred) - Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Management Science, Mathematical Sciences, Financial Management, Business Administration, Applied Statistics

  • Nice-to-have?s - Minor in MIS or CIS; Professional certification
