Description
Job Title: QA Lead
Job Description: As a QA Manager Policies and Controls you will be responsible for monitoring the adherence and conformance of the established methods and procedures created in support of the QA department. Not limited to but including:

Document Control & Standards

Special Projects

Liaison to interfacing departments in support of QA Practices and Procedures

Direct activities of the technical documentation team.

Reporting
The ability to set goals, communicate progress regularly and solicit input and knowledge from all levels of the company when needed. Provide key content that enables users to understand process and complete steps that result in successful use of a software application and/or policy and procedure.
The ability to work closely with cross functional teams to support the development of outstanding documentation =E2=80=93 user guides, developer guides, installation and online help collaterals.
Job Duties:

Ensure adequacy and accuracy of Control Process documentation

Audit and Control practice management

Organize and manage the content of each of the documentation delivery systems

Able to think logically, communicate clearly, and be well organized

Facilitate meetings and hold structured fact finding sessions.

Work with the QA team to create, monitor and improve processes to maintain Best Practice methodology.

Monitoring and updating of the Quality Assurance team standards and procedures for accurate execution and audits.

Project Management of special projects specific to QA Process Improvement

Standards are maintained that independent audits can be successfully reported.

Monitoring and updating of the Quality Assurance team standards and procedures for accurate execution and audits.

Knowledge of project planning and project management techniques sufficient to manage small projects.

Ability to direct and mentor associates on your team

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Strong problem solving skills

Ability to perform delegated responsibilities during the absence of the QA Director

Decisions require technical expertise but are often bound by policy, procedure or past practice.

Continuously monitors QA/QC policies and procedures in support of continuous process improvement.
Experience:

4+ years experience in IT with direct experience in process development and standards. Credit Card processing a plus

2+ years experience managing a technical documentation department

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, HTML and Help authoring tools

Strong understanding of IT Framework standards

Strong understanding of corporate IT Policy development

Working knowledge of business process modeling and implementation of processes.

Must be proficient with Word to create and review policies, procedures, forms, and templates.

Knowledge of email systems such a Microsoft Outlook sufficient to communicate with both internal and external contacts.

Knowledge of Word sufficient to create complex documents which may contain graphics, form fields, sub-headings and indexes.

Knowledge of Visio sufficient to create process flow diagramsdf-tc
