Description
Currently seeking a QA Analyst with 3+ years of experience in a process orientated QA department and mortgage or banking industry is a plus. Fortune 500 Financial Services Organization located in San Diego County has an immediate need. Great work environment and location!

Will work on a variety of small to medium-sized and low to medium risk projects. Responsible for developing test plans, test cases/scripts, and acceptance criteria. Responsiblities include reporting the status of projects at any time by clearly stating what is wrong and what is currently correct with a project. Will also track quality assuarance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Tasks will include documenting all problems and assist in their resolution.

This role will communicate with engineers, clients, vendors, project managers, and other team members.

Experience/Skills
Requires:

-- Familiarity with test methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, system testing and performance testing, to plan testing.
-- Ability to execute formal test plans, both manual and automated, to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
-- Must be able to create SQL queries to test back-end databases and have experience with client and vendor integration testing.
-- Must be able to perform XML testing in compliance with MISMO standards
-- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
