Description
Technical Support/Data Center Acceptance Testing Analyst. Responsible for building a secure production test environment and subsequently acceptance test major application enhancements on the open system platform. This platform includes application changes in the UNIX, Intel (Win2K), and VMS areas. Post acceptance testing, assist in the migration of the enhancement to the production environment, which would include a validation process.

Experience on Unix and or Intel (Win2K) platforms with understanding of their operating systems is required; VMS platform would be a plus
Exposure to database management systems such as Oracle, RDB, SQL, Sybase or UDB preferred
Exposure to scheduling, monitoring and backup/recovery software such as Tivoli workload scheduler (maestro), MQSeries, Tivoli and HP openview (monitoring), TSM (backup), Web-logic, CA/Harvest, and CA/Openmake preferred
Basic understanding of Java, C++, Visual Basic, Korn Shells, Daemons and scripts a plus
Flexibility to work off-peak hours (evenings and weekends) is a must.
