This energetic and passionate person will be involved in creating and executing test strategies against Blackbaud's prospect research solutions. They will work closely with Business Systems Analysts and Software Engineers to establish test goals, test plans and identify critical scenarios based on the development requirements and critical client scenarios. Working in the Products group at Blackbaud you will be part of the Quality Assurance team responsible for evaluating and testing software components that make up the world's leading non-profit software.

Responsibilities and Duties

Participate in design reviews of use cases with business systems analysts, interaction designers and software engineers
Test design deliverables with rigorous analysis of design artifacts and cognitive walkthroughs on system components
Develop and execute test cases
Test product features against requirements
Perform black-box and exploratory testing on new and existing product features
Understand user behavior and incorporate into scenario based testing
Supplement manual testing with the latest in automation technologies
Work with the team lead to establish testing strategy and manage execution based on assigned priority
Evaluate and suggest improvements to the software development process
Work closely with the software designers and engineers to ensure successful, high quality releases

Required Experience:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· 4 year degree or comparable work experience in Quality Assurance or Software Support

· 2 to 5 years experience with testing software

· Strong logical & problem solving skills

· Superior and proven attention to detail

· Exce llent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast moving environment with quick turn around objectives

· Must have excellent teamwork and independent decision making skills

· Must have experience in testing or supporting Microsoft technology products

· Working or advanced knowledge of one of Blackbaud's products a plus

· .NET Experience a plus

· Knowledge of XML authoring a plus
