Description
We are currently seeking a strong Quality Assurance Engineer for our division based in Poway

This person will be working on a QA team consisting of two people. This person should have mid level experience and should be able to work independantly. Excellent communication skills are a must and the ability to multi task is highly desired.
Must be a quick lerner.
XML is desired but not required.
This position will be working on the GUI end.

Experience/Skills
Develop test plan, test cases/scripts, and acceptance criteria for medium-sized, low to medium risk projects.
Accurately portray the status of project at any time by clearly stating what is wrong and what is currently right with the project.
Familiarity with test methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and system testing.
Execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
Track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Document all problems and assist in their resolution.
Communicate effectively with engineers, end users, project management, and technical personnel. XML testing experience is desired.
Must be able to work independently and multi-task. Must be able to work flexible schedule during occasional Production deployments after hours or on weekends.

Dimensions:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

Experience:4+ years of experience in a process orientated QA department. Use of ClearCase and ClearQuest is a plus.
