Description
Excellent direct hire Quality Assurance Manager opening, based in Hollis or Auburn areas. 5-8 years of prior QA management experience desired, as is microbiology laboratory management, manufacturing line inspection and knowledge of Statistical Process Control, HACCP, sanitation, and hygienic design. Manager will be responsible for developing the plant QC environment: leading the plant in the implementation of the company's Quality System*continuously improving plant procedures for monitoring and ensuring conformance to specifications for incoming raw materials as well as for finished products* developing initiatives to improve plant performance against company quality measures and ensuring plant compliance with company and regulatory standards* providing daily leadership to QA Department and *acting as the primary liaison to Corporate QA, Corporate and outside laboratories, and to external regulatory agencies. Hot CIP (clean in place) background a plus. Manager will also be responsible for preparation and maintenance of Permitting and Licensing for the plant and monitor waste water disposal and reporting.
