We have an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION
Great opportunity for a four to six months contract assignment for a Quality Assurance Specialist working through CDI for one of our clients on the East coast of Florida. This Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for assuring that the medical devices supplies to customers are effective and free from defects. Additional responsibilities include participating on design teams to ensure compliance and that the eventual design is safe and effective, and oversees the complain/corrective and preventative action program. Will prepare reports to communicate involvement and results of quality activities such as complaints, CAPAs, QANNs, etc. Will prepare quality reports and presentations. Will maintain a working knowledge of and ensure compliance to governmental and industry quality codes and standards. Will develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in engineering or science along with two years work experience in a related field in a quality assurance role in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Must be knowledgeable with US regulations and International standards pertaining to medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Must have basic computer literacy.
