We have an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Tester

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tester/QA Analyst will be expected to do the following:
- Develop test conditions with expected results based on the business requirements.
- Properly document test cases and test scripts using project desired testing tools.
- Generate test data for test cases.
- Partner with business owners and application analysts to develop a thorough understanding of the application or process to be tested
- Review testing deliverables for completeness and quality and compliance with established project or enterprise standards.
- Execute test plans to properly validate business and technical requirements are met.
- Report testing results to appropriate project leadership (PM, Analyst, Business Owner).
- Enter and manage project defects as needed.

The Tester/QA Analyst will be responsible for producing the following:
- Test Cases and data requirements
- Test Approach Documentation
- Document Test Results
- Defect Tracking
- Document issues and risks
Required Skill set
The Tester/QA Analyst must possess the following skills:
- Minimum seven years of related IT tester/QA experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to identify, clarify and resolve issues regarding testing and escalating them as needed.
- Experience in development of test cases.
- Experience in execution of test cases.
- Experience with testing tools, such as Quality Center Mercury testing tools.
- Experience with data conversion and batch processing a plus.
- SQL skills preferred.
- Contact Management knowledge preferred but not required.
