Hp Business Availability Center Administrator/ Performance Specialist is needed to support the Global Monitoring and Performance Testing.

The Performance Specialist must :

Be familiar with the BAC Dashboard=E2=80=99s user, administrator and attached applications allowing them to create customized Dashboard views.

Possess extensive hands-on experience in the use and administration of the Business Availability Center Dashboard is required.

The Performance Specialist must have the ability to :


Create simple and complex Dashboard Views.

Customize views based upon business requirements.

Create new data sources to feed external data to the Dashboard.

Create and apply custom Rules, Entities and Dimensions. Perform Business Availability Center platform and user maintenance.

Aid the team in evaluation of new products and integrations to update and improve the existing Business Availability Center implementation.

Assist the design teams in implementing new systems for integration into the dashboards.

The Performance Specialist will be responsible for :


Creating automated scripts using LoadRunner 8.1 for multiple applications.

Designing and scripting automated scripts for load and stress testing using LR 8.1 so that performance and scalability of multiple systems can be analyzed before production deployment.

Assisting in improvement of testing processes and in training of staff for Mercury tools including LoadRunner, BAC and Diagnostics so that the whole team has complete understanding of standards and procedures.

Aiding teams in the analysis of test results.

The Performance Specialist will be a Senior administrator who will be expected to participate in all aspects of Performance Testing and Monitoring work. This will include both analytical support for development projects and maintenance of existing applications in production. The Performance Specialist will also work in close coordination with developers to effect proper testing protocols, aid in system tuning and review and advise on new system upgrades and implementations. S/he will interface with Project Leads and Developers to design and create new models and assist on deliveries. The Performance Specialist is expected to interact with Development Teams to resolve performance and end-user issues. S/he will also work closely with system administrators to help define platform requirements, to effect performance tuning and capacity planning of Test and Production systems. The Performance Specialist will interact with Web administrators and developers to provide input on system tuning and diagnostic procedures. S/he will interact with Security administrators to define security standards and to enforce security practices. Finally the Performance Specialist will be expected to document the work s/he is performing as per the Infrastructure team standards as required by his / her supervisor. On occasion, the contractor may be required to travel to offshore facilities outside US based on business requirements.

Working knowledge of the following:
Windows XP and 2003 Server, LINUX or LinuxWeb sites and browsers.
Mercury Business Availability Center 6.5
SiteScope
Mercury Diagnostics and Profiler
Mercury Real User Monitor
Mercury LoadRunner 8.1
PERL, ANSI C and Working CITRIX knowledge.
