We are currently seeking to fill a Quality Data Management - Database/Systems Developer position for our client in Pinellas Park, FL. We invite you to review the position requirements below and apply today if your skills match our need.

Responsibilities:
- Design and development of VB/SQL Server applications.
- Coordinate with representatives from the business throughout system implementation.
- Analyze and understand data flow, data elements and relationships as they pertain to existing corporate systems.
- Provide ongoing support for data reporting requests from the business units.
- Develop VB/SQL Server applications.
- Interpret and implement business requirements.
- Create user-defined SQL queries.
- Provide data manipulation support to users for off-the-shelf software packages such as Access, Excel and Word.
- Produce technical and user documentation.
- Analyze existing reports and applications for data integrity and efficiency and recommend enhancements and improvements.
- Apply analytical and problem solving skills to software solutions.
- Work with the business to create test strategies and support QA functions.

Qualifications:
- Experience with full software development life cycle.
- Intermediate to Expert level knowledge of Visual Basic (VB6) and SQL Server (MS SQL Server 2000 =E2=80=93 TSQL) development (3+ years VB, at least 2 years of .Net).
- Intermediate to Expert database skills, including MS Access, VBA, SQL, triggers and stored procedures, functions, data modeling (3 years' database query skills, at least 2 years' in MS SQL Server).
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self motivated and detail oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with DTS and other MS Server administrator skills
- Experience with ODBC and writing customized database views
- BS in Computer Science or equiv experience.
- DBA or Assistant DBA with 3 or more years database development experience.
- Desired Skills: Microsoft Office, Crystal Reports, ADO, ADO.net, ODBC, API Calls, Web implementation experience including VB script, JAVA script, Active X controls, HTML, ASP, XML
