GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for verifying the quality of Radiant software and hardware products. Will design, develop and execute test plans and scripts for all components of a product to ensure the delivery of quality software product that meet or exceed customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Will use Radiant's proprietary automated testing tool to perform functional tests from test specifications.

Will assist with the development of test specifications.

Need to have the business savvy to receive general instructions and achieve desired results.

Will review use case documentation, participate in the test installation cycle and provide input into work plans for assigned projects.

Will determine the time estimates and work plan necessary to achieve the goals for building, testing and maintaining the products.

Will need to communicate and escalate information about timetables and milestones that may not be met.

Will complete status reports and participate in normal departmental meetings.



Experience/Skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Need at least one year of testing experience in a UNIX or Windows environment.

We have one position open including Quality Engineer I and Quality Engineer II. Q/E I requires 1-3 years of experience and Q/E II requires 2-5 years.

Compensation will be competitive for those with 1-5 years of experience.
