Job Summary: Perform QA engineering function for all business units. Work with the QA, Product and Package Engineering to bring closure to customer returns Corrective Actions. Frequently interface with foundry or subcontractors in coordination of root cause fault analysis or corrective action. Work closely with the Failure Analysis group to understand the nature of the failures and recommend necessary containment and corrective action to satisfy customer requirements. Coordinate 8D reports that documents actions identified by the MRB team. Learn our electronic document control system and perform necessary specification reviews to comply with ISO9000 and/or TS16949 requirements in addition to specific customer requirements. Review customer specifications and requirements, also providing reports and other communications to the customer in a timely fashion. Put together and analyze quality metric reports to monitor improvement actions in support of our on-going Quality Initiatives while developing and implementing novel or unique processes or procedures in support of those initiatives. Provide leadership on improvement projects that to resolve complex problems including participation from multiple disciplines and includes Customer, Subcontractor or Foundry. May provide guidance to one or more employees.=0A =0A Experience: Must have 14+ years previous experience as QA, Product or Process engineer in a Semiconductor company.=0A =0A Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline; Masters Degree in an engineering or science discipline preferred. Attention to detail and able to work with minimum supervision and direction. Good people skills. Ability to work with difficult customers and negotiate acceptable compromises.df-tc
