Description
Job Title: Quality Manager

Goal – To manufacture products at a profit by controlling operating expenses and inventory while maintaining throughput.

Job Scope:

•Develops and controls quality programs. Suggests methods for improving product quality, design, or manufacturing processes.

•Monitor performance (in relevant areas) according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels.

•Monitor and inform/communicate/apply standards created/maintained by external bodies, and integrate within internal quality management systems.

•Establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments.

•Interact with customers and suppliers where necessary

•Supervises quality assurance specialists or inspectors.

•Conduct quality and safety related training classes.

•Manage MSDS and Haz-Mat programs

•Direct involvement in QTI’s Lean

Manufacturing programs

•Perform contract and purchase order review to ensure accurate order entry in accordance with the quality manual.

Skills & Experience:
•2 years electronics manufacturing experience
•1 year quality control inspection experience, 1 year supervisory experience
•Excellent professional communication skills
•Advanced computer skills
•Detail oriented, Excellent organizational skills
•Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 quality standards
•Experience in Environmental Safety and Health is preferred
