We are currently seeking to fill a Quality Test Engineer position for our client in St. Petersburg, FL. We invite you to review the position requirements below and apply today if your skills match our need.

We are looking for candidates who are self motivated and can be loyal to a long term project and have a passion for what they do. Very preferred that candidates who apply have experience working in a regulated industry.

Qualifications:
- Operate under Good Documentation Practices (GDP s)
- Operate under all companys SOPs pertaining to this position
- Have an understanding of Hardware/Software testing.This includes hardware (consisting of electrical, electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical devices and/or systems) controlled by software.
- Understanding Test Protocols and Test Cases and executing them to completion
- Write test protocols and test cases from the requirements
- Be capable of drawing conclusions about pass/fail criteria
- Understand the Requirements Process.
- Be capable of operating various laboratory test equipment such as Digital Volt Meters (DVMs), Temperature controllers and Electronic Scales.
- Be capable of working without constant supervision
- Troubleshoot hardware & software devices and systems
- Be capable of operating Microsoft Windows and basic MS Office software

Preferred Skill Sets:
- Be familiar with TeleLogic Doors software
- Be familiar with Rational ClearQuest or other issues tracking software
- Be familiar with other software packages: Lotus Notes, Sametime, Visio, MS Project, etc.
- Be familiar with Tracing Functional or System Requirements to Hardware or Software
- Requirements to Test Requirements to Test Protocols or Test Cases.
- Be capable of understanding electronic schematic diagrams
- Be capable of reading code in common languages: C++, Java, etc.
