Description
The position of Quality Assurance Analyst II is required to ensure the quality of software products released including such tasks as testing, creating test scripts, estimating testing tasks, and validating software releases. This may also include validating design specifications to ensure total quality management limits and standards. Assist product developers and technical support specialists with installation problems. Typically requires three to five years of experience in quality assurance testing or product support.

- Works closely with software development engineers and work with multi-disciplinary team members to meet assignment goals.

- Participates in relationships with other organizations throughout the Company.

- May lead small teams in product testing.

Responsibilities:

- Tests alpha, beta, and final versions of the company's products.

- Create and execute functional, application, regression and performance tests.

- Researches and develops an understanding of the marketing requirements for the product features being tested including how the users use the features and their performance requirements.

- Sets up test cases for assigned modules and builds test systems.

- Executing and building of automated testing tools

- Familiarity in automated testing tools and in development of automated test cases is essential for this position.

- Recreate problems reported in the field.

Experience/Skills
Education, Experience, and Training:

Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's degree in business or computer science. Typically requires three to five years of experience in quality assurance or product support.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Good analytical and testing skills. Detail oriented. Good understanding of the QA process. Good application knowledge and use awareness. Good communication skills. Able to accurately estimate task durations and meet schedules. Knowledge of automated testing tools is a plus.

Equipment and Applications: Windows/Unix Operating Systems, Knowledge of SQL, MS Office Applications and related software applications.
