The Technical Security Analyst is responsible for programming, supporting and maintaining mainframe security systems, interfaces and RACF. Responsibilities also include researching, testing, developing and implementing technical security solutions, interface programs, customized utilities and hardware devices in support of the corporate information security mission. Additional responsibilities include the following: Participate in developing technical security project plans and participate on project teams in order to help design, modify and implement technical security solutions for authentication, access control, auditing and security administration; Research, analyze, test, develop, install, program and implement MVS, RACF, IDMS, CICS and DB2 security controls, interfaces, SAF RACROUTE Macros, utilities, programs and audit tools; Assist the User Administration Team by developing utility programs and production jobs used to add, remove, modify and manage RACF user profiles and account information; Assess and quickly resolve technical problems or user access issues related to RACF while using good judgment to minimize risk and exposure to the business; Conduct or assist in performing security audits, reviews and assessments; Assist with the implementation of security policies, procedures, training and awareness programs.

Experience/Skills
The desired candidate will have in-depth experience supporting mainframe security and RACF. You must demonstrate a thorough understanding of RACF Internals, be able to perform RACF tuning and program SAF RACROUTE Macros. You must demonstrate experience developing RACF interfaces for CICS online transactions. You must demonstrate experience placing DB2, MQ, IMS or IDMS under RACF control.
